Vasakronan Creates On-Demand Content Access

Vasakronan creates on-demand content access with SeeUnity’s Vortex Content Mobility solution. As Sweden’s leading property development and management company, the firm has built its success on providing superior service to tenants. While on site with tenants, access to documents like purchase orders, maps, and schematics is useful. Vasakronan knows that their employees always have their mobile devices on hand.

Vasakronan reviewed several potential candidates but was ultimately won over by SeeUnity’s Vortex Content Mobility app. Vortex enables secure mobile device access to ECM repositories including eDOCS and SharePoint.

CAPP Improves Content Accessibility

The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers improves content accessibility with SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization. CAPP provides services and information sources to its members and associate members via a MemberNet Portal. Committee Sites host collaborative Work In Progress (WIP) content and bridge access to CAPP’s critical resources stored in OpenText eDOCS.

Over time, the MemberNet did not age well. It began to have compatibility problems between Microsoft Office and eDOCS. CAPP wanted to replace their in-house solution with an easy to use software solution for external sharing. SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization allowed CAPP to publish eDOCS content to SharePoint for their external sharing.

Intellectual Ventures Migrated to NetDocuments

Intellectual Ventures (IV) migrated to NetDocuments with EIM International and SeeUnity. Their goal was to provide Intellectual Ventures a new and better way to store documents. IV had previously been using Documentum as their ECM, but decided they no longer needed the customizations provided by Documentum. They wanted to simplify their document management and NetDocuments provided the interface and capabilities desired.

SeeUnity’s Velocity Content Migration enabled IV to migrate their content, along with associated metadata, easily from Documentum to NetDocuments.

publisuisse Bridges Content Between eDOCS and SharePoint

publisuisse bridges content between eDOCS and SharePoint with SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization. publisuisse has long depended on OpenText eDOCS to protect and manage their assets. They also used a custom portal to publish out content, but it had limited scope as a custom solution. As they began their transition away from their custom portal to SharePoint 2013, they needed to find a way to synchronize their eDOCS with SharePoint.

Initially, publisuisse requested ImageWare to rewrite a connector that would allow publishing from eDOCS to SharePoint. However, in research for existing products, SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization emerged as the obvious choice for bridging eDOCS and SharePoint.

International Monetary Fund Takes Content Mobile

International Monetary Fund takes content mobile with SeeUnity’s Vortex Content Mobility Solution. Recognizing the benefits of tablets in the workplace, the IMF’s CIO instituted a standard around Apple’s iPad. Initially, synchronized email, contacts, and calendars brought immediate benefits. However, users sought ways to share more data, including data from their eDOCS and SharePoint repositories.

Without direct mobile access to this content, there was a potential risk of users duplicating content, attaching them in unsecured emails, or using third party storage. These activities could be detrimental to IG plans. SeeUnity’s Vortex Content Mobility allowed IMF’s users to securely access eDOCS and SharePoint documents and content through an app on their Apple devices.
