SeeUnity and Active Navigation have joined forces to help customers with all of their content compliance, governance and migration needs.  Together they will be able to provide their customers with the best of both worlds by first analyzing content to clean up and ensure compliance and then efficiently and accurately migrating content to the repository of their choice.

SeeUnity has now extended its support for Fusion Content Integration, Echo Content Synchronization, and Velocity Content Migration to include Box. Box is the largest file sharing application for enterprise clients, supporting over 47,000 businesses. It is being used across all industries for small and large Fortune 500 companies. With such an extensive reach we have found that many of SeeUnity’s current customers are looking to incorporate their Box content with their overarching document management plans.

In conjunction with SeeUnity’s partner, EIM International, Intellectual Ventures has successfully migrated from Documentum to NetDocuments.

Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) is an open industry standard that allows inter-operability of content management systems. CMIS was originally a sponsored AIIM initiative, but is now administered by OASIS. This open standard provides a common data model for files, folders, and limited functions across multiple platforms. Now in addition to our extensive list of native ECM connectors, we support the CMIS connector.

We were pleased to see the news that the iManage leadership team announced a successful and complete buyout from Hewlett-Packard (HP) on July 21, 2015. This buyout includes a full buyout of all software under the HP Autonomy WorkSite name. The iManage team appears to be going full steam ahead with plans for new features and innovation to its products. The industry has reacted highly positively to the news. Legal Technology noted at the end of their coverage of the news that it was, “…about time too.”
