Denver, CO – September 14, 2020 – SeeUnity, the leading provider of API-based content integration and migration solutions for on-premise and cloud-based Enterprise Content Management applications, is pleased to announce today the release of Echo Automate, an Echo Content Synchronization product enhancement designed to automate the time-consuming process of creating, maintaining, and executing large volumes of meta-rules, including synchronization rules, between systems.
NAL Resources Modernizes Capabilities with Move to OpenText eDOCS
Nicole Haddow, Team Lead, Document Management Services for NAL Resources, set out to digitize and automate system processes at NAL in order to streamline workflows and create a more nimble organization. Part of this modernization process entailed addressing NAL’s current document management system, as it was lacking functionality and required too much administration and overhead.
Nicole turned to Concerta Consulting, a trusted system integration partner, for a solution.
After assessing the organization’s ECM needs and desired capabilities, the decision was made to shift to OpenText eDOCS. In order to handle the large volume of content and complexity of this type of data migration, Troy Olson, Senior Systems Integration Consultant at Concerta, recommended leveraging SeeUnity’s Velocity Content Migration product (Velocity).
“We were looking at migrating nearly five million documents from eight different collections of content, with a hard stop deadline of December 31, 2019. It was quite the undertaking and we knew it would require a tool capable of expediting the process and assisting us with the reconciliation.” – Troy Olson, Senior Systems Integration Consultant, Concerta
Automate the Capture of Federal Court Filings to HighQ through a SeeUnity-PacerPro Integration to Reduce Costs and Improve Data Capture
Firms spend thousands of hours annually manually downloading, labelling, distributing and saving federal court filings and associated meta data, resulting in delays, incomplete files, and non-standard file naming conventions. PacerPro and SeeUnity have joined forces to securely integrate PacerPro with systems like HighQ, automating that process to significantly improve workflow for case teams and clients.
Benefits:
● Eliminates rote work and reduces costs
● Ensures case teams and clients have immediate, complete access to all case filings
● Standardizes file naming conventions and preserves essential meta data
Partner Success Story: NAL Resources Accelerates Enterprise Access to Millions of Documents
Deploying OpenText eDOCS required the migration of content into the new solution—a daunting task made easier with a content migration solution from OpenText partner SeeUnity. Olson described the scope: “There were probably close to five million documents that we had to move from the old system. In order to accomplish that, we leveraged an add-on for eDOCS, the SeeUnity Velocity tool. It was a huge part
of this whole project. At times, we were moving 20,000 documents an hour, which is really remarkable from a migration perspective.” Haddow added, “The reconciliation of documents was absolutely phenomenal. It was seamless.”
