ILTACON 2018 -
It's a wrap!
ILTACON is hands down one of our favorite events. The legal technology industry is really just one huge family and going to the event each year reminds us of how lucky we are to be a part of this amazing group.
This year, ILTA introduced a new opportunity for their business partners to speak called the Education Hub. The Education Hub was in the back of the exhibit hall and business partners were able to do quick 20 or 40-minute education sessions for the ILTACON attendees. We were fortunate enough to land a 20-minute slot where we decided to educate ILTA members on how more and more of the most innovative firms are connecting third party applications to their document management systems. Ryan Bond, our VP of Professional Services, spoke to members at the session about how our clients, like Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Neal Gerber, among others, have been connecting their systems together to improve workflow and productivity within their firms.
Ryan also talked about scalability, and this is key in the age of the customer and the cloud. The age of the customer has pushed many firms to the cloud. Whether it’s their document management system like iManage and NetDocuments, or a collaboration system like HighQ, customers want and need easy access to content, and firms need to ensure scalability as they continue to grow.
This short session went really well. We had a great turn-out and the questions at the end of the session cemented our mindset that the most innovative firms are absolutely looking to extend their applications to connect their people with content. The session drew people to our booth to learn more about how SeeUnity can help them improve their processes and connect the applications that their people use. We hope that ILTA does this sort of thing next year as we feel that it was a more intimate setting to educate members about trends in the industry.

In addition to the Education Hub, ILTA always puts on a great event that is full of thought leadership. Many of our partners and customers were featured in sessions and topics ranged from AI to Knowledge management and everything in between.
We had a chance to meet with Rob Ameerun from Legal IT Professionals. He took a short video of his conversation with Dan Anderson, CEO of SeeUnity where Dan talked about our most recent success stories and a brief overview of who SeeUnity is. You can watch it here.
National Harbor was such a great venue. We want to extend our thanks to the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) for putting on such a great event. We are looking forward to next year and hopefully, we will have the opportunity to host an Education Hub session again! SeeU in Orlando!
