Day 5: SharePoint
On the fifth day of ECM, my IT manager gave to me, Microsoft SharePoint 2016.
Earlier in the year, SharePoint upgraded from 2013 to 2016. We wrote a blog about getting the most out of your SharePoint site. One especially important aspect to any ECM is the search function. SharePoint 2016 made search much more efficient by giving the ability to add additional metadata attributes to a document. A SharePoint search in 2016 will populate content from both SharePoint and SharePoint Online in a single unified list. SharePoint 2016 also made it simpler and quicker to set up external sites for client collaboration.
SeeUnity has a long history of connecting with SharePoint across all of our solutions. We can migrate you to or from SharePoint, enable synchronization to or from SharePoint with other disparate ECM repositories or CRM systems, integrate SharePoint with a CRM or other ECM system, or make your content mobile. Whatever your need may be, SeeUnity can do it!
Day 6: HighQ
On the sixth day of ECM, my IT manager gave to me, HighQ Collaborate!
On the second day of ECM, we talked about collaboration. One way that successful firms collaborate internally and externally with clients is with HighQ Collaborate. HighQ is a great tool for enabling law firms to collaborate between teams, colleagues, clients, and external counsel from around the world. When used in addition to an ECM system, HighQ allows for more productive work, and more billable hours.
With SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization, you can have the benefits of HighQ Collaborate synchronized with your ECM systems.
