Day 3: Mergers & Acquisitions
On the third day of ECM, my IT manager gave to me, mergers and acquisitions!
Okay, so maybe it wasn’t the IT manager that gave me mergers and acquisitions (M&A), but it is an important piece of the ECM market. Any time a firm or company merges with, or acquires, another company, they usually have to pull two ECM systems together. In some instances, one ECM system will become a repository of record, while both systems continued to be used. In other cases, there is a complete migration from one system to another.
At SeeUnity, we can help with both of those things with our integration, synchronization, and migration products. Our solutions can enable firms to merge their content comfortably and move on to what is really important.
Day 4: Mobility
On the fourth day of ECM, my IT manager gave to me, content mobility!
Technology has given us the ability to be mobile workers. With VPNs, virtual machines, and the cloud, being a mobile worker is easier than ever. Whether you’re working from home or on the road, you are going to want access to important files, and you want that access to be secure. Mobility of ECM content is a truly wonderful thing. In the case of law firms and legal departments, it is beneficial to have secure access to your important documents on the go.
With SeeUnity’s Vortex Content Mobility, you can have secure access to important documents and files on the go. The Vortex app connects with your ECM repository and can be configured to allow for offline or online access to documents. It can be branded with your organization’s logo, too!
