SeeUnity, the leader in enterprise content integration, has entered into a technology partnership with Alfresco®, a leading provider of modern enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) software. SeeUnity is excited to be working with Alfresco to enable enterprises to solve information and content-driven challenges.
With the newly formed partnership, SeeUnity has extended its solutions to support SharePoint coexistence, ECM consolidation, data migration and content synchronization with Alfresco’s solutions. This in-turn offers Alfresco’s customers more options to support fragmented ECM ecosystems, leveraging the power of Alfresco’s modern ECM platform to drive growth, cut operating costs, and mitigate risk.
“I enjoy seeing our product line grow and adding new connector support is always very rewarding for me. Creating the Alfresco connector was quick and easy to work with the open standards,” Dan Hunsinger, Co-Founder and CTO, SeeUnity.
“I believe with our newly formed partnership, Alfresco and SeeUnity will be able to rapidly serve and extend support to customers who want to take advantage of Alfresco’s ECM platform to either consolidate their ECM environments or integrate into a fragmented ECM environment,” said Bob Crissman, VP of WW Channels at Alfresco Software.
“A growing number of Enterprise customers are dealing with content management software problems such as: searching, accessing, and editing content easily across multiple repositories and locations; and implementing automatic business workflow, archiving, content synchronization, and compliance rules without changing the way end users access and consume content,” added Jerome Agnola, senior director of Business Development at Alfresco Software. “On the surface, some solutions offer a layer of collaboration that might be sufficient for some end users, but ultimately does not address the core issues. The combination of Alfresco and SeeUnity leverages an organization’s IT infrastructure already in place and migrates smoothly from costly and inefficient ECM legacy systems.”
In addition to Alfresco, SeeUnity’s solutions support other industry leading ECM providers. Initial roll-out of SeeUnity’s Alfresco connector is focused on SharePoint coexistence, content synchronization, and ECM consolidation.
