Tell us about your company – who are you and what do you do?

HighQ provides innovative enterprise collaboration and content management solutions to the world’s leading law firms, financial services companies, governments, and corporations. We combine secure, enterprise-grade technology with an amazing user experience to transform the way businesses collaborate, communicate and share information securely in the cloud.

I am responsible for creating a global partner ecosystem that benefits our clients and prospects, extends the value of how they use HighQ and compliments their existing investment in other critical technology applications through integration.

HighQ and SeeUnity have partnered to offer a seamless way to sync the content and files you share from HighQ with your existing document management (DMS) or enterprise content management (ECM) systems. HighQ’s intelligent work platform enables users to collaborate, communicate, and securely share content with people inside and outside of your organization. SeeUnity’s Echo Content Synchronization solution ensures that HighQ content is integrated and unified with your DMS.

What are your top 3 focuses for the next year?

• Extending our integration story using Echo, beyond just sync and share with DMS, to solidify HighQ as the central hub for collaboration.
• Providing stability and success for our existing clients who need a connector for DMS
• Offer a seamless ingestion method from legacy systems into HighQ, using Velocity.

How do you work with SeeUnity?

SeeUnity is a critical component in our HighQ collaboration story as they offer 2-way and true bi-directional integration with all major DMS system that our clients use on a daily responsibility. By offering these connectors through HighQ, we are able to offer our clients a seamless method of acquiring, installing, and supporting their integration. We see this as a simple and logical approach to meeting both our client’s and prospects needs as they have integration needs for DMS and beyond.

What are the key factors in making a partnership successful?

We take a very deliberate and prescriptive approach to our strategic partnerships that begins with what would benefit our clients, solve their problems, and ultimately make them more successful. The next steps are to better understand the culture, personalities, and reputation of a potential partner. Do we like each other? Can we work together effectively? Does our commitment to customer success and experience align? Will this partner commit to HighQ and our clients and provide a level of service that is expected…? With SeeUnity, it was easy to see that we had found a perfect match, and we made the decision to move forward.

What are some of the biggest challenges your customers are faced with?

Our customers face many of the same challenges that we all face. Increasing expectations, decreasing resources, shrinking budgets, as well as the evolution of new and present technologies that they rely on to support them in their efforts.

How do you guys address them?

Specifically, on the latter, we’ve seen that our clients are looking for better ways to extend the data, content, and value of information that they have internally that exist in silos and were designed to only be internal facing. By integration SeeUnity with HighQ, we are able to pull key files, document, and metadata that exist in those internal systems and make them available in a secure and compliant digital Collaboration workspace.

What are the most interesting topics or trends you’re seeing within the industry?

SmartLaw – how to successfully deliver digital transformation by combining the intelligent use of technology with the right culture and approach to clients.

Digital experience and the client journey -offering customers the ability to deliver services to their clients in a more innovative, efficient, secure and transparent way – for example by digitizing legal knowledge and delivering online products and services
