Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineers are responsible for testing several web-based software applications and user interface components to ensure that SeeUnity delivers high quality products to market.

Salary Range: Starting at $50,000 DOE 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • – Isolate, reproduce and accurately report software defects and deficiencies
  • – Ensure quality software
  • – Write test plans and test cases against requirements and prototypes
  • – Log and retest defects
  • – Perform regression testing
  • – Work with Customer Support to troubleshoot, recreate, and document issues for the Development group
  • – Support the launch of new products and software versions

Preferred Skills

  • – Have working knowledge of cloud sharing platforms (Box, HighQ, OneDrive, etc.), Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • – Possess JavaScript and HTML knowledge
  • – Three or more years of solid quality assurance experience
  • – Experience testing web-based applications on desktop and mobile devices
  • – Comfortable working in a Waterfall or Agile development environment
  • – Proficient at preparing test plans and executing test cases
  • – In depth knowledge of test case management and defect tracking tools
  • – Possess excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • – Can objectively evaluate options and make sound decisions based on gathered or known data
  • – Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for inaccuracies
  • – Motivated and shows initiative investigating abnormalities with little or no direction
  • – Enjoy writing and presenting findings
  • – Able to communicate findings, solutions, and ideas in a clear manner across the organization
  • – Enjoy forming effective working relationships both internally and externally
  • – Positive and professional attitude
  • – Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • – Ability to shift focus according to assigned project priorities

Minimum Requirements

  • – Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar focus
  • – 2+ years in a highly technical role
