We had a great time talking with our attendees about migrating to Microsoft SharePoint! We also enjoyed having Peter Lieber of EIM International on the line to give his input on the topic. We appreciated his use of specific examples of how EIM has helped with different kinds of SharePoint migration use cases, and how passionate he is about helping organizations with their migrations.
SharePoint migrations are different from any of our other system migrations because it is not your typical ECM system. We spent a lot of time in this webinar talking about the importance of the planning stages of the migration. We find that the teams that do the most pre-planning, auditing, and analysis prior to the migration have a better chance at success than those who just dive right in. As partners, EIM and ourselves also stress the importance of using outside resources to assist in all stages of the migration as to relieve some of the stress on your migration team. This is a key reason our partnership with EIM is so important. As Peter mentioned during the webinar, SeeUnity and EIM really are like the Farmers Insurance “We’ve Seen a Thing or Two” commercials.
